This week campers don't just use AI — they build it. They'll meet AI face to face, immersed in the latest AI technologies while learning how they actually work from the inside out. Using the same cutting-edge tools shaping the future right now, they'll train their own models, create intelligent agents, and wire their AI into real hardware so it does something you can actually see and touch. Every day is a new adventure. Every challenge is real. And by showcase day, every camper walks out having built something that genuinely thinks.

Our Story
Einstein By Design has had success teaching 21st-century skills to youth by immersing them in state-of-the-art digital technologies through hands-on learning experiences — and via our proprietary Tinker Tools and curriculum. Since our founding in 2014, we have reached thousands of students across the United States and around the world, from university campuses to classrooms in Aruba, Detroit, Budapest, and the Caribbean.
Our success in teaching thousands of youth and hundreds of educators through our programs has inspired us to develop a new digital platform alongside a global expansion of our offline programs — so we can reach an even wider audience. We believe every young person, regardless of zip code or circumstance, deserves the TIME to Tinker, Innovate, Make, and Explore.
Our impact goes far beyond summer camps. We have donated drones to schools in Aruba and Flint, Michigan, brought hands-on STEAM programming to underserved communities in Detroit, and expanded technical education access in Budapest, Hungary and throughout the Caribbean — providing on-the-ground expertise to schools, community learning spaces, and government entities who want to build something better for their kids.
Founded by Tai Smallwood — Montessori-trained educator and La French Tech Visa for Founders recipient — EBD continues to grow its product line to extend STEAM learning beyond the classroom: a bilingual book series, circuit-based build kits, and a growing library of Tinker Tools designed to spark curiosity at every age. To learn more about our work in France, visit www.einsteinbydesign.fr.

The Program
These courses deliver a high-quality learning experience with a seasoned, Maker-Trainer that enables your team to achieve the best STEAM-Tech education experience — with a truly hands-on approach that engages learners at the intersection of STEM and technology.
STEAM isn't just for big kids anymore. Improving STEM instruction at the early childhood level makes sense on many levels. When we view STEAM literacy in the context of language development, early exposure to the language of STEAM dramatically increases the likelihood of gaining fluency later in life.
Teachers will learn how to integrate STEAM instruction into infant-toddler curriculum by using creative educational techniques as a springboard for learning — putting science and math into action through the inquiry and engineering design process. In this bootcamp-style training we incorporate hands-on experiences, collaborative problem-solving, and an integrated approach to STEAM, scientific inquiry, and literacy skills.
Teaching staff will be coached through hands-on projects and go home with materials, lesson plans, and access to ongoing curriculum support — equipped to become effective LEADERS in STEAM education.
In our workshops, you will use logical thinking, the engineering design process, and the scientific method — just as your students will. Each workshop gives you the knowledge and tools you need to begin a STEAM-Tech program at your site, guided by Einstein By Design staff through a series of hands-on, project-based learning activities.

Who We Are
Einstein By Design has had success teaching 21st-century skills to youth by immersing them in state-of-the-art digital technologies through hands-on learning experiences — and via our proprietary Tinker Tools and curriculum. Our success in teaching thousands of youth and hundreds of educators through our programs has inspired us to develop a new digital platform alongside a global expansion of our offline programs, to reach an even wider audience.
Founded in 2014 by Montessori-trained educator Tai Smallwood, EBD grew from a conviction that every child — regardless of zip code or background — deserves access to world-class STEAM education. That same philosophy drives our educator training work: when teachers are empowered, students thrive.
We have delivered programming across the United States and internationally — from university campuses to classrooms in Aruba, Detroit, Budapest, and throughout the Caribbean. Schools and government entities who have partnered with us asked for one thing: bring this energy to our educators. Our STEAM-Tech Bootcamp is the answer.
🛠 Proprietary Tinker Tools & Curriculum
Every EBD training is backed by our own curriculum framework and hands-on Tinker Kits — tools we use with students every day, now put directly in the hands of educators.
🌍 Global Reach, Local Impact
We work with K-12 schools, international schools, government entities, and community organizations worldwide — bringing the same high standard of STEAM training to every context.
📈 Expanding Digitally & Globally
Our new digital platform will extend our reach even further — bringing EBD's proven STEAM methodology to educators and students who can't yet access our in-person programs.
