Eligibility: Undergraduate Juniors and Seniors, Graduate Students, Skilled Makers/Tinkerers and Classroom K12 Teachers

Application Period: Quarterly

Upcoming Application Deadlines:  Spring Application Deadline: February 15th, 2019 at 11:59pm EST

Summer Priority Application Deadline: March 1st, 2019 at 11:59pm EST

Summer Final Application Deadline: April 30th, 2019  at 11:59pm EST

Duration: One year, renewable yearly for up to 3 years

Specific Time Commitment: Between 5-15 hours monthly September through May; 2-8 weeks during summertime, June through August-flexible dates

Stipend/ Terms: Hourly compensation of $15-25/hr, plus yearly scholarship opportunities ranging from $500-$1500.


Innovation Fellow

Creative Technologist

Innovation Fellows are makers and tinkerers. They build robotics projects for fun, and love showing others their awesome technical skills. As an Innovation Fellow you will be paid to do what you already love doing. You will design and implement innovative curriculum and professional development training focused on STEAM enrichment. Throughout your term as a fellow, you will also be provided professional development opportunities to grow and develop as a leader in STEAM-Tech education. Throughout the school year you may work in our after school programs. During the summer you will work as a lead instructor at one of our camps.

Qualifications

  • Teaching experience

  • Preferred experience with computer programming

  • Preferred experience in robotics and/ or other technology projects

  • Creative and works well independently and as part of a team


   STEAM-Tech Leader in Training

Innovation Enrichment Teacher

STEAM-Tech Leaders-in-Training are high school juniors and seniors who will be trained to inspire other youth through innovative STEAM-Tech educational programming. As a STEAM-Tech LIT you will be provided opportunities to assist in designing and teaching dynamic curriculum, while working alongside more experienced Innovation Fellows. You will be paid a small stipend throughout your term, and will be eligible for a yearly scholarship in the amount of $250-$500 after the successful completion of twelve months of work. Throughout the school year, you may work in our after school programs. During the summer you will work as an assistant instructor at one of our camps.
